Suicide bomber kills at least 6 people in Kabul
At least six people were killed and 12 others were wounded on March 27 when a suicide bomber blew himself up near the Foreign Ministry in the Afghan capital, Kabul. A spokesman for the Taliban’s security command in Kabul, Khalid Zadran said security forces spotted the bomber and shot at him but could not prevent him from reaching a checkpoint in Malik Asghar Square, where he detonated his explosive vest.

Ukraine has brought back 307 children from occupied territories
Ukraine has brought 307 children out of Russia-occupied territories, including an eight-year-old boy who was recently reunited with his grandmother. Ukraine’s authorities estimate more than 16,000 children have been deported to Russia since the start of the war in 2022.

France riots ease as mayors hold anti-violence rally
Riots in France appear to be calming, after five days of violent protests in response to the shooting of teenager Nahel M during a police traffic stop. Sunday night saw violence subside and fewer arrests were made. However, President Emmanuel Macron has asked the interior ministry to keep a “massive” police presence on the streets.
