On August 11th 1962, Neil Sedaka started a two week run at No.1 on the US singles chart with ‘Breaking Up Is Hard To Do’, his first US No.1 as an artist. It reached No.7 on the UK chart. Sedaka recorded this song twice, in 1962 and 1975, in two significantly different arrangements, and it is considered to be his signature song. Between 1970 and 1975, it was a top-40 hit three separate times for three separate artists: Lenny Welch, The Partridge Family and Sedaka’s second version.

The album went on to sell over 30 million copies world-wide, and made Morissette the first female Canadian to score a US No.1 album. ‘Jagged Little Pill’ featured the massive hits, ‘You Oughta Know’, ‘Hand in My Pocket’, ‘Ironic’, and ‘You Learn’.

Upcoming Movie : Kingdom of the planet of the apes
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is an upcoming American science fiction action film directed by Wes Ball and written by Josh Friedman. It is the standalone sequel to War for the Planet of the Apes in 2017. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes will introduce new characters and plots. In this movie, humans live in fear and apes must face an authoritarian leader who wants to establish his new power. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is scheduled to be released by 20th Century Studios in the United States on May 10, 2024.
