Liverpool beat Manchester United 7-0 at Anfield
Liverpool have thrashed Manchester United 7-0 in the Premier League. It’s United’s heaviest defeat since Boxing Day 1931. It is the first time the Red Devils have lost by seven goals in any competition since that loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers more than 90 years ago. Former club captain Gary Neville said the performance had been an absolute disgrace, a shambles.

A Stolen 300-year-old painting returned to museum
A Baroque landscape paintings lost during World War II were returned to Germany on Thursday, October 20 2023. The artwork by 18th century Austrian artist Johann Franz Nepomuk Lauterer was hand over to a German museum.

Germany sends much-awaited Leopard tanks to Ukraine
The first shipment of Leopard 2 tanks from Germany has been sent to Ukraine. Eighteen cutting-edge main battle tanks were delivered after Ukrainian crews were trained to use them. Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said he was sure the tanks could make a decisive contribution on the frontlines of the war.
