The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced their 2023 class of inductees. In the performer category the group includes Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine and The Spinners. DJ Kool Herc and Link Wray will be the recipients of the Musical Influence Award, while Chaka Khan, Al Kooper and Bernie Taupin have been selected to receive the Musical Excellence Award.

The 2024 Golden Globe Awards took place at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, United States, on Sunday January 7th, 2024 local time. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer dominated the wins at the awards show. The movie won five categories.

On May 22 2014, Fleetwood Mac‘s Christine McVie was honoured with a lifetime achievement at this year’s Ivor Novello songwriting awards. McVie played with Fleetwood Mac for 28 years and wrote some of their most famous songs, including ‘Don’t Stop’ and ‘Little Lies’. Other winners at the ceremony in London included London Grammar, The Chemical Brothers and Nile Rodgers.
