Olympic champion Peres Jepchirchir won the London Marathon by setting a women’s world record on Sunday afternoon local time, April 21, 2024. Jepchirchir’s time of 2 hours 16 minutes 16 seconds broke the women’s field record of 2:17:01 set by compatriot Mary Keitany in 2017.
