Fire hits Rohingya refugee camp in Bangladesh
A massive fire raced through a crammed refugee camp for Rohingya Muslims in southern Bangladesh on Sunday. The blaze erupted at Camp 11 in Cox’s Bazar, a southeastern border district where more than a million Rohingya refugees live. Bangladesh’s refugee commissioner, Mijanur Rahman said The fire rapidly engulfed the bamboo-and-tarpaulin shelters. Some 2,000 shelters have been burnt, leaving about 12,000 forcibly displaced Myanmar nationals shelterless.

Sudan clashes killed at least 25 and injured hundreds
At least 25 people were killed and 183 others injured in ongoing clashes across Sudan. Armed clashes were reported throughout Khartoum, including the presidential palace and the capital’s army headquarters. According to Medical sources at a hospital in central Khartoum, the hospital has received dozens of wounded civilians and military personnel in the last several hours. Sudan’s military said the Rapid Support Forces infiltrated Khartoum airport and burned civilian aircraft.
