The United States has pulled off its first lunar landing in more than half a century with a spacecraft built and operated by a Texas-based private company. Odysseus, an uncrewed robot lander built by Houston-based Intuitive Machines with funding from NASA, touched down near the lunar south pole at around 23:23 GMT.

Hundreds of people were evacuated from the Allen Premium Outlets mall as eyewitnesses described a man firing indiscriminately at passers-by. Dengue outbreak kills over 1,000 in Bangladesh
More than 1,000 people have died from dengue in Bangladesh’s worst outbreak on record. According to figures from the Bangladesh Directorate General of Health Services, since January, 1,017 people have died from the mosquito-borne disease including more than 100 children, with infections rising over 208,000.
