A drone attack on an ammunition depot in Crimea has led to civilian evacuations and disrupted transport. Sergei Aksyonov, the Russian installed governor of occupied Crimea said, Ukraine was behind the attack, without providing evidence. Mr Aksyonov said local residents living within five kilometres of the blast were being evacuated.

10 people killed after plane crashes on highway in Malaysia
At least 10 people have died after a charter plane crashed onto an expressway north of Kuala Lumpur on Thursday. The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia said in a statement that the plane carrying six passengers and two flight crew, departed from Langkawi International Airport and was headed to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport.

53 people killed in suspected Syria IS attack
State media reported at least 53 people were killed on Friday in an attack east of Homs in central Syria that was blamed on Islamic State. The director of Palmyra hospital, Walid Audi, said those killed were 46 civilians and seven soldiers. IS has not claimed responsibility for the attack. The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported earlier on Friday that Some people managed to escape the attack.
