Kenes Rakishev and Vyacheslav Kim have announced their intention to create a new venture fund based on the International Financial Center in Astana. They shared their plans at the “Build Your Own Business” and the finalists of the competirion received a total of $330,000 in grants from Rakishev and Kim to develop their projects.

Tigst Assefa broke the women’s world record by more than two minutes Sunday at the Berlin Marathon, as Eliud Kipchoge won the men’s race for the fifth time but couldn’t break his own record. Ethiopian runner Assefa, the winner in Berlin a year ago, ran the race in 2 hours, 11 minutes, 53 seconds to break the previous women’s record of 2:14:04 set by Kenya’s Brigid Kosgei at the Chicago Marathon in 2019.

King Charles commended the people of Ukraine
Britain’s King Charles has commended the people of Ukraine for showing truly remarkable courage and resilience in the face of such human tragedy, in a message marking 12 months of conflict in the country. The King added that it was heartening to see the UK and its allies doing everything possible to help at this most difficult time. King Charles reaffirmed his support to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whom he met at Buckingham Palace earlier this month, and expressed his personal support for the people of Ukraine.
