Kurt Cobain’s smashed Fender Stratocaster guitar sold at auction for $595,900, more than 10 times its original estimate. The Nirvana frontman’s iconic left-handed electric guitar was smashed while the grunge pioneers were making their seminal Nevermind album in the early 1990s. Reassembled but unplayable, it was expected to sell for between $60,000 and $80,000 at the Julien’s auction at the Hard Rock Cafe in New York over the weekend.

The Comic Con International event held in San Diego, United States last weekend successfully made Marvel fans excited because Robert Downey Jr. returned to the Marvel Cinematic Universe – after being “killed” as Iron Man in Avengers: Endgame. But he no longer wears the iconic character’s red uniform. This time he wore Victor von Doom’s green cape or Doctor Doom.

Coldplay Announce First ‘Moon Music’ Album Single ‘feelslikeimfallinginlove’
Coldplay embarks on the next phase of their intergalactic journey with FeelsLikeImFallingInLove.” Produced by Swedish master Max Martin, the new cut dropped at the stroke of midnight and is the first lifted from the British band’s forthcoming tenth studio album, Moon Music. Coldplay premiered the song live this week at Budapest’s Puskás Aréna, and will get the chance to perform it for a sea of music fans (and millions more watching on their screens) when they headline Glastonbury Festival for a record fifth time. Moon Music is due out Oct. 4, 2024.
