Yevgeny Prigozhin had threatened to march on Moscow to force out Russia’s defence minister, a move that provoked fury from President Vladimir Putin who promised to punish those who had betrayed Russia. Barely 36 hours into this confrontation, though, Prigozhin agreed to a deal that would see him move to Belarus.

Investigators are looking into whether the gunman who killed eight people and wounded seven others at an outlet mall in Texas on Saturday was motivated by domestic violent extremist ideals. The Texas Department of public safety confirmed Sunday, the gunman has been identified as Mauricio Garcia, 33.

Russia increased personnel in Easter Ukraine
Russia is increasing the number of personnel in eastern Ukraine as it concentrates its efforts on conducting offensive actions in the region. The General Staff of the Ukrainian military said on February 27 as Ukrainian and Russian forces remained locked in fierce combat in the east and northeast. According to available information, up to 200 conscripts from Rostov region have been transferred to the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region.
