NASA’s first asteroid samples fetched from deep space parachuted into the Utah desert Sunday to cap a seven-year journey. In a flyby of Earth, the Osiris-Rex spacecraft released the sample capsule from 63,000 miles (100,000 kilometers) out.

Dubai begins construction of ‘world’s largest’ airport
Dubai has started work on a $35bn airport terminal that is set to have the world’s largest capacity upon completion. Dubai’s Prime Minister and Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said that the new terminal would be five times the size of the current Dubai International Airport and handle up to 260 million passengers annually.

Climate change heatwave strikes U.S and Mexico
Human-induced climate change made recent extreme heat in the US south-west, Mexico and Central America around 35 times more likely. The World Weather Attribution (WWA) group studied excess heat between May and early June, when the US heatwave was concentrated in south-west states including California, Nevada and Arizona.
