Irish singer and activist Sinéad O’Connor has died at the age of 56. Her family announced the news with great sadness, saying her family and friends are devastated.

On April 16 1994, Prince had his first UK No.1 with ‘The Most Beautiful Girl In The World’, (his 37th single release). It was his first release since changing his stage name to an unpronounceable symbol. “The Most Beautiful Girl in the World” released in various forms on the 1994 remixes EP The Beautiful Experience and later on his seventeenth album, The Gold Experience (1995). The song was a worldwide hit and established Prince’s ability to succeed commercially under his new name, peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. It was certified gold by the RIAA and sold 700,000 copies domestically. However, the song was his last top 10 hit on the US Billboard Hot 100 during his lifetime.

The 54-year-old pop superstar became the first female to have chart-topping albums across five consecutive decades when she released the smash hit ‘Disco’ in 2020 and will return to the music scene next week as she teams up with house DJ Oliver Heldens to release the brand new single ’10 Out of 10′ on Wednesday (05.04.23.) Kylie Minogue who is known for having explored a variety of music genres throughout her career including pop, Indie, country, and disco – teased that her upcoming 16th studio album will be a mixture of electro and 90s house music as she admitted she couldn’t wait to share it with fans.
