At least six people were killed and 12 others were wounded on March 27 when a suicide bomber blew himself up near the Foreign Ministry in the Afghan capital, Kabul. A spokesman for the Taliban’s security command in Kabul, Khalid Zadran said security forces spotted the bomber and shot at him but could not prevent him from reaching a checkpoint in Malik Asghar Square, where he detonated his explosive vest.

Russia increased personnel in Easter Ukraine
Russia is increasing the number of personnel in eastern Ukraine as it concentrates its efforts on conducting offensive actions in the region. The General Staff of the Ukrainian military said on February 27 as Ukrainian and Russian forces remained locked in fierce combat in the east and northeast.
