Brazil will host the international climate meeting in 2025
The United Nations has chosen Brazil to host the international climate meeting, COP30, in the Amazonian city of Belém do Pará in 2025. Foreign Affairs Minister, Mauro Vieira said the UN approved Brazil’s bid to host COP30 on May 18 after Brazil President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva’s request during last year’s COP27 meeting in Egypt.

Luxury Superyacht Sailboat Sinks In Storm Off Sicily
At least one person was killed and six others, including a British software mogul, were missing on Monday after a sailing yacht carrying 22 people sank during a violent storm off the coast of Sicily. The Italian Coast Guard official overseeing the rescue operations, Luciano Pischedda said that the yacht sank after a storm with strong winds struck around 5 a.m.
