The Poland-Kazakhstan trade and investment forum was held in Warsaw. The event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Poland and the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the Polish Agency for Investment and Trade. The work of the forum is aimed at enhancing trade, economic, investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Poland, strengthening existing and establishing new direct contacts between business partners of the two countries, presenting investment projects, opportunities and support mechanisms for business.

At least 25 people died as heavy rains hit Pakistan
Heavy rains pounded Pakistan’s northwest regions collapsing houses and killing at least 25 people. Senior rescue officer Khateer Ahmed said rains and hail hit the Bannu, Lakki Marwat, and Karak districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday. Another 145 people were injured as uprooted trees knocked down electrical transmission towers.

Israel launched airstrikes
Israel launched airstrikes targeting alleged weapons manufacturing and storage sites in Gaza on Thursday, following a rocket attack from the coastal enclave. In a statement, The Israel Defense Forces said fighter jets struck a weapons manufacturing site in central Gaza owned by Hamas, the Palestinian militant group that runs Gaza.
